Pictured outside his unfinished church is a man of God and his Wife. In their heart is a dream, to send their daughter to University, finish their church building and to raise up Christian men and women who will change the course of their nation, continent and the world.

But they have been busy with life and ministry and did I tell you they both are just recovering from Malaria. But they won’t make this the topic of discussion, rather they want to hear how we can work together to help village churches survive who have nothing. So while their personal dreams are placed aside they continue to pursue the heavenly vision.

During our visit Joseph takes us to Parental Care Ministries location close to Ibanda, Uganda where he will treat their animals and show us the ministry site of a partnership between his friend Pastor Emmy and wife and the ministry from TX, USA. We are there with Pastor Henry Ssevviiri from Jinja, Uganda where many partners have helped bring Henry’s dream towards reality. But now we see in front of us where Pastor Henry’s village needs to progress and we also realize God is showing us a model of what we call “Community Transformation. A Christ centered village with the ability to educate, feed and sustain the next generation children until they grow into adults who will have the ability to change the course of their Nation for the Glory of God. It’s no accident that Henry and I are scheduled to fly into Juba, Sudan the next day and meet with the village leadership to begin a similar project where the men are 80% illiterate and the women are 90% illiterate and they are looking to us to help them. May God help us!

Our vision statement says “To touch the continent of Africa with the Gospel of Jesus Christ’, this is a very bold statement for a redneck from Alabama. But God is the one who will do it, He has revealed in front of me this year that He is doing it and I can participate or I can live my life-like most Americans, self-centered and chasing the next empty pursuit.

Why don’t you come help us pursue the modern-day Macedonian Call Acts 16:9-10? This year Uganda, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Ghana, you can join us.

This is your invitation,

Rev. Ken Galyean

There are times when God initiates special times that refresh the heart and renew the spirit, this was one of those times where God anoints a meeting to take His people to a new level of ministry and open’s the Word up in a powerful way. This was a time where He moved through the area of Bugiri, and Busembatia, Uganda to prepare leaders for the work of the ministry and to reach many with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

After the team left the Lord opened up the door into Southern Sudan and potentially Tanzania as well. We also met with Pastor Joseph and Berna Olowo to prepare for 2012 and 13.

Please pray that we will be faithful to heavenly vision!

As we see 2011 come to a close and prepare for the 2012 mission schedule of CTA I stand amazed in the presence of an AWESOME God who has allowed us to see our dreams come true. Our Mission Statement says “To Touch the Continent of Africa with the Gospel of Jesus Christ”, during our mission to Botswana and Zimbabwe in October God revealed to me, He is bringing it to pass.

From an invitation to Uganda in 1995 God began to connect me to some of His chosen leaders that placed us on a pathway of opening a door for His gospel to Africa. Now since 2006 when He moved me from full-time Pastor in Arab, AL to begin ‘Call to Africa’ we have had the privilege to train leaders and preach the gospel in Uganda, Sudan, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and now he is opening up Tanzania and Ghana in 2012. Not to mention Romania, Guatemala, and Haiti.

The team you see pictured on the right was with us in October as we conducted a Pastors/Leadership Conference, children’s Ministry Leadership Conference, Evangelistic Campaign and Soccer Clinic/Tournament. During this mission God opened the door into Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Ghana so now as we prepare to host a similar mission in Uganda in January we will also meet with leaders from 7 countries to prepare for the 2012/13 mission schedule.

My church;Pastor John Dees of Crosspointe Community Church in Madison, AL. has agreed to send our international mission team leader; Mike Nevin to travel with me through Botswana and Uganda to meet with the leadership of Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Uganda, Sudan, Kenya and Tanzania so we can cast vision and prepare our partners to conduct multiple venues to bring together strategies to expand the kingdom of God throughout these countries. Josh McNeil our Missions Team Leader from Crosspointe will join us in Uganda to meet the leaders of those bordering countries. We believe the result will be the opening of more doors into other African countries to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We need your prayers and support! If your church or ministry would be interested in joining us in prayer, sending team members and sending resources we need your help! Pastors, teachers, young adults, laymen and women, doctors, medical personnel, soccer coaches/players, evangelist, worship leaders, technicians, business professionals, and construction folks are all needed. We use every venue imaginable as a platform for the gospel of Jesus Christ. My wife Renate (pictured left) leads the Sarah Joseph Foundation of CTA that focuses on womens empowerment and caring for the widows and orphans through animal husbandry projects and tailoring schools. Every aspect of the mission has a training aspect to build capacity in the local leaders to carry on the ministry after we leave. We need your help! Thank you to all who invested through CTA this year to mobilize the gospel!

The greatest way we can say Merry Christmas this year is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ!

Rev. Ken Galyean of CTA has been traveling within the USA to share his life and ministry with others who need to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. During the Weekend of November 4,5,6, Ken joined a group from Lake Wales BC for a Men’s Retreat. This weekend was dedicated to bring men and sons away to relax and focus on the goodness of God. Ken shared his testimony, devotional thoughts and preaching around the campfire as 43 men and boys enjoyed a weekend of hunting, skeet shooting and getting to know each other and hear the good news of the grace of Jesus Christ.

Between now and the end of the year Ken raises awareness and teams for 2012 Call to Africa schedule.

We are open to being used however the Lord chooses during this time before beginning to travel back to Africa in January 2012. Please pray for CTA as they prepare for 2012/2013.

Masunga Senior Secondary school has been tagged as one of the best schools in Botswana, yet they have also suffered with many suicides as students lose hope if they don’t perform well enough to move up to the University of Botswana.

This mission to North East Botswana to train leaders, conduct soccer clinic/tournament and hold evangelistic rallies with a team of fourteen from USA, Botswana and Zimbabwe not only produced opportunities for more than 400 to profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior but also opened doors for the gospel into Zimbabwe, Zambia and Ghana for the days ahead.

Clyde Watts from Henderson Hills BC in OKC facilitated the soccer clinics/tournament, Brian Williams from Crosspointe Community Church, Madison AL. was the lead teacher in Pastors Leadership Conference. Josh McNeil – Mission Team Lead from Crosspointe Community Church serve in all venues and evaluate strategic nature of CTA’s partnership with OBC (Open Baptist Church, Gaborone, Botswana).

Because of this mission we were able to go into Zimbabwe and meet leaders to share the vision of carrying the same venues to their country in 2012. Also because of our partnership with OBC we have been asked to recruit a team from USA and Botswana (OBC) to go to Ghana during the September of 2012. We Praise Jesus for all His goodness and allowing us to work with credible partners in Africa to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the continent of Africa. We are seeing this vision become a reality as the Lord opens doors like these to train and equip leaders, evangelize target areas while training local leaders to do the same and use venues like soccer or medical as a platform for the gospel to reach the masses.

Thank You!

Rev. Ken Galyean

This was my first trip to Haiti and though I had no idea of what to expect, I must admit there were many similarities with some very extreme needs and conditions like unto Africa. Pictured here at the top left is myself with three of our team members on top of the Citidel a fort built-in the 1800′s. UNBELIEVABLE!

Also you see the joy of Baptizing 12 new believers from the ministry partnership with Pastor Roosevelt in the village of Campion, about 45 minutes outside the city of Capetian, Haiti. I am so thankful to be part of a local church who cares for the needs locally and globally, as we exemplify the love of Christ as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ. The whole community turned up for this event, plus a bible distribution and soccer team supplies.

Our church has been involved in this partnership to include a water well, education for children and adults, bible distributions, capacity building in the church and pastor, and latrines for individual households in the community. This is very similar to our goals of community Transformation in Africa and I am excited to see similar efforts between CTA as an extension of Crosspointe Church and the hands on effort of our vision and leadership.

This trip was led by Mike Nevin one of our elders, Curtis Ellington, Doug Wright, Christian Caracciolo, Peggy Anderson, Jen Hall, Jen Bryan and me.

I was so blessed to see the love of Christ that had been poured out through most of the team members who had been before and were known and loved among the people of Campion, Haiti.

I appreciate our Pastor; John Dees and Elders; Mike Nevin and Ed Hughes who allowed me to represent our leadership as one who has previously pastored a church.

Blessed! Rev. Ken Galyean

Leadership Pastor Matt Prine from the Sanctuary Fellowship leads a baptismal service in a remote village where 48 new believers were baptized after placing their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. What a joy to participate in this proclamation of the gospel with public baptism where one by one for more than 2 hours we celebrated with Pastor Henry Ssevviiri and his evangelistic rally team.

During several days of ministry CTA and the team from TSF in Houston, TX joined Pastor Henry Ssevviiri and his Evangelistic Rally Team to saturate the area close to Masaka, Uganda with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Also during this week of ministry CTA sponsored two interns; Hope Kendall and Stephanie Sears who lead the VBS at Good Shepherd School in Njeru, Uganda. Hope and Stephanie were a great addition and joy to have with us during the 5 weeks in Uganda as they served the teams and CTA in every way to facilitate ministry venues and administrative areas of the missions. Plus they participated in all areas of the ministry. We are so thankful to the Lord for the teams He provided and the fruit we saw from spreading His gospel! Rev. Ken Galyean

Vicky Hide, Audrey Henley, JoAnn Glass and Kim Reisenwitz taught for 4 days on the basic Bible doctrines of our faith. This critical teaching came to an area where two years ago a man claimed to be God and convinced 300 plus followers to lock themselves in a church and burn to death.

Now as God would have it, beginning with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Authority of Scripture, Depravity of man, Justification, sovereignty of God, Forgiveness among other critical Bible doctrines. God used these Bible Teachers in a super-natural way.

At the end of the conference each participant received a certificate showing they completed this 4 day teaching. Many false teachings were confronted and the truth has begun to set many free from the false teachings popular in many areas of Africa and around the world.

Renate and I want to thank the Lord for these ladies coming and teaching a doctrinal foundation that will help all those who attended this conference. The place was packed and our technical team worked it out to Video the conference in the overflow room of the conference site.

Pictured here with her certificate and our Bible Teachers was a young lady some 14 years old who attended every session.

Thank You! Rev. Ken and Renate Galyean
