Those places and Moments when you recognize that quietness in your soul and it seems as if time stands still for a while and only afterward you realize, what was it, why does that moment keep replaying in my mind and I can hear the music in my heart? God Moment…. a moment in time when the presence of the Living God makes Himself known.
Isaiah 6:1-8 “In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up: and train of His robe filled the temple. Above Him stood the seraphim. each had 6 wings: with 2 he covered his feet, with 2 he covered his face and with 2 he flew. And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is filled with His glory!” And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. And I said: “Woe is me! For i am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!” Then one of the seraphem flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth and said: “Behold this has touched your lips: your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.” And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall we send, and who will go for us?”Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
This April we will return to some of the places where we have had these God moments, we ask others to pray with us for the manefest presence of God as we have said: “Here am I, send me!” Not because of who we are or what we have done, but because of who He is and what He has done for us! Our goal is to share the Gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ, who died because of my sin and the sin of everyone in the world. We deserve eternal seperation (hell) from Him because of our sin, but because of His great mercy and love (demonstrated on the cross), if we will confess with our mouth; “Jesus as Lord” and beleive from our heart that; “God raised Him from the dead”. Then you too can be saved (guilt taken away, and sin atoned for like Isaiah)…Oh Halejuiah!!
